Bell Fuels’ heating oil history reaches back to post WWII, 1946, when the Senior Mr. Troch diversified his coal business to include heating oil. Oil, which was a cleaner burning energy source than coal, soon became the mainstay product for Bell Fuels. At its pinnacle point, Bell was privileged to serve 28,000 commercial and residential heating oil customers.

Today, Bell Fuels still remains the largest heating oil distributor in the Chicago metropolitan area.
